They knew exactly what they were doing—and God knows it too.
If you've ever been told to excuse repeated evil, manipulation, or abuse because "they didn't know any better," this episode challenges that belief with biblical wisdom and spiritual discernment.
In this powerful prophetic teaching, we examine how Luke 23:34 is often misinterpreted to silence victims, enable wicked behavior, and discourage God's people from seeking His wisdom when confronted with deception and evil. God is not calling you to ignore what He is exposing.
In this episode, you'll discover:
- why repeated evil is often intentional
- how manipulation hides behind misused Scripture
- the difference between forgiveness and enabling
- why discernment is essential in spiritual warfare
- how God exposes hidden motives and protects His children
- what the Bible says about wisdom, accountability, and justice
This message is not about fear or revenge. It is about truth, discernment, and walking in the wisdom of God. The Lord sees every hidden act, every deceptive motive, and every injustice committed against His people. Nothing escapes His attention, and nothing is outside His righteous judgment.
If you've been praying for clarity about the people around you, this episode will encourage you to trust God's revelation and stop doubting what He has already shown you.

✝️ Cycles end here. Freedom starts with you. — Shaneika Glover
Welcome back to the Bloodline Shifters Podcast, the place where cycles are broken, curses are canceled, and destinies are unlocked through the truth and power of God. So, people of God, I'm back on here again, okay, with another word that exposes wickedness in the lives of God's people. After seeking the Lord, I received a prophetic word of wisdom from God that exposes how most people that do evil stuff, that do wicked things, okay, they know exactly what they're doing. And brothers and sisters, the reason why I went to God about this particular topic is because I keep hearing people use Luke 23. And there are no consequences for partaking in wicked acts. And as a result of this, the Lord shared with me that the enemy is using the misinterpretation of this verse to specifically deceive and manipulate God's people into thinking that they don't need to take the time, right, to seek the wisdom from the Lord on how to move forward where there are evil things that are happening that are being displayed from individuals that they are connected to. I hope that makes sense, y'all. Also, I want to make mention that this word does not apply to young children. This message is specifically addressing the behaviors of adults. Okay. So, brothers and sisters, as I said earlier, the Lord led me to come on today to release a prophetic word of wisdom on how most people are aware of their evil deeds. And they know exactly what they're doing, people of God. They know the wickedness that they're putting out towards other people, they know the wickedness that they're doing behind closed doors, they are aware of what they are doing. Now, somebody might be saying, Well, Shanika, why is the Lord shedding light on this? Why is this a video? Why is this a topic, right? Well, brothers and sisters, it's because many of God's people, including some of you that are watching today or listening today, you are being deceived into thinking that certain people are just not aware of evilness. They're not aware that what they do is wrong. And as a result, some of you are putting up with manipulation. You're putting up with negative behaviors from people that are hurtful. A few of you are being held back from fulfilling the calling that is on your life because of the mental abuse that is coming from the people that are supposed to want the best interest for you. And some of you that are watching today, you are sacrificing your freedom. You're giving away all your money, you're giving away your time on people that do not truly care about your well-being. Point blank, all they want out of you is what they can get from you. You're wasting your time, listen, trying to please or measure up to people that will never be satisfied with anything that you do. Why? Because as I stated earlier, you believe that they do not understand that they are being evil. You believe that they don't understand that they are being downright disrespectful. You believe that they do not understand the wrongness in some of the things that they are doing towards you or that you're witnessing for other people. But brothers and sisters, I am here to tell you that that could not be further from the truth. Okay? That person or that group of people, they know exactly what they are doing. And it's time for you to come out of the denial phase. It's time for you to stop covering up, right? And allow for these people to accept responsibility for their actions. Okay? So if you have your Bibles, brothers and sisters, come with me quickly to Luke chapter 23, verse 34. Because this is the verse that I keep hearing people quote to justify the evil deeds of certain people in their lives or from a distance. Okay. So I am reading from the King James Version, people of God, and it says, Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots. Let me say this verse again. Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them, for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment and cast lots. Now, brothers and sisters, this verse means what it says, okay? We cannot deny it, in that Lord Jesus begged God the Father to forgive those who had wronged him, to forgive those who crucified him, lied on him, spat on him, abused him, and hung him on the cross, right? And as a result, the same mercy that saved him extends to all of us when we put our faith in Jesus. Because Jesus forgave us for our sins, we must also choose to forgive others that have sinned against us. Amen. So in a nutshell, this verse solidifies that the process of forgiving others is a requirement of the Lord, no matter what people do to you, no matter what people say. Okay? So that's understood. We don't reject that. But on the flip side of that, brothers and sisters, this verse does not say, listen, that forgiving someone means to dismiss the idea that that person or people are aware of their evil deeds, are aware of their wrongdoings. And we know this to be true because the Bible teaches us that people in general are aware, or at least they have an inner knowing of the difference between right and wrong. Through 15. And it says, For when the Gentiles which have not the law do by nature the things contained in the law, these having not the law are a law unto themselves. Verse 15, which shoe the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing. I also have the message version, which I think is going to hone this thing home for many of you that are watching. The message version says, in through 15, it says, When outsiders who have never heard of God's law follow it more or less by instinct, they confirm its truth by their obedience. They show, listen to this, guys, that God's law is not something alien imposed on us from without, but woven into the very fabric of our creation. There is something deep within them that echoes God's yes and no, right and wrong. Okay? So as we have read, the verses confirm that most people know what they're doing when they do something wicked. Most people know what they're doing when they do something wrong. The scripture says, we just read it. If a person does not have God's law written in their hearts, they still have an inner sense of right and wrong that condemns them when they violate it. Does this make sense, people of God? And somebody might be saying, Well, Shanika, what's your point in this message? Why is this all so important? It's important for you to notice, people of God. It's important for God to use me to expose this because God needs for you to be able to discern how to navigate certain connections where there are or have been evil deeds coming towards you or others from the people that you associate yourself with. This means that it is your responsibility to protect yourselves from being tempted or affected by the sin of others. The Bible says in 1 Corinthians chapter 15 that as believers, we are not to be deceived by those who say such things, for bad company corrupts good character. Now, don't get me wrong, brothers and sisters. This is not to say that as believers, you will not sin because you're going to sin, right? The Bible says in Romans chapter 3, we have all fallen short of the glory of God. And God is also not saying that you should make it a habit of being suspicious of people's motives or just being an unloving person or being a mean person, right? Or being someone that cannot be approached. No, that's not what the Lord is saying in this message. But what God is saying is that you must be able to discern patterns of corruption. You must be able to discern patterns of wickedness in people. Why? So that you can respond to them according to the will of God, okay? Because you know what, brothers and sisters, unfortunately, the bad company that the Bible is referring to in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, it also includes family, it includes friends, it includes associates, it includes close relationships. And these are the connections where God's people tend to condone wickedness the most. Why? Because we love the people that we're connected to, because they're family, we love our family, or because we've known these people for so many years, the history that we have, okay? And as a result, we tend to stay locked into or accept wickedness from the people in these connections or relationships because we are familiar with them. But this is what the Lord is saying concerning these types of situations, people of God. This is where the word of wisdom is coming in from the Lord. God is saying that your family, your relatives, your friends, or someone that is close to you, they are not exempt from corruption. They are not exempt from evil or wickedness. And the Lord says, you must get to a place of exercising discernment and wisdom in all people. And it doesn't matter who they are, so that you are not led astray, and so that your light does not leave you, says the Spirit of the Lord. God says, do not sell your crown to someone that will not change for the better. Never sell your prize to someone that refuses to repent of their sins. God says, Come out from among the wicked and be ye separated. And do not give your harvest away, says the Lord, to someone that is not permitted to feast with you, to be in your presence, to be in proximity of what the Lord is doing in your life, but instead, says the Lord, exercise the wisdom that is freely given to you and discern wickedness concerning all things and all people, says the Spirit of the Lord. Brothers and sisters, it is my prayer that today's word of wisdom enlighten your minds to the tricks, the plots, and the plans of the enemy as it relates to your connections, your families, or the people that you are close to, and that God will empower you to use your discernment and seek wisdom from Him so that you will know how to move, okay, or how to respond to the people that are doing evil things in your midst, evil things in your relationships, evil things in your connections in Jesus' name.
